Bay Area Credit Unions (BACU) is a local coalition of 15 not-for-profit organizations focused on what’s best for you—not corporate shareholders.

Mission

The mission was to change how Credit unions get a bad rap for being exclusive, too small, or old-fashioned—but in reality that’s far from the truth.

Challenge

The biggest challenge was to combat all the credit unions myths, adding all the participating local credit unions in the Tampa area. The second challenge was to not give any credit union more of a spotlight than the other. To solve this, all of the credit unions shuffle and move on every page load.

Understanding your audience is key to knowing how best to communicate with them. I enjoy the time to discover what drives the audience’s needs, perceptions, and behaviors.
